Fundraising for 109 has pushed me out of my comfort zone but I’m left feeling empowered. If you’re on the fence, I urge you to leap over and try. I’ve come to realize that it isn’t hard to make a difference in our World, we all have the ability within us.
This incredible trip truly changed my perspective. Many of the things we worry about day to day are, in fact, minuscule even though they feel huge. Being at the camp made me realize that in the blink of an eye, everything can change.

109 World has officially completed its third social mission trip. This one, helping survivors of a massive earthquake in Ecuador, has been unique. Each participant had to move through a deep fear or painful hardship, flying from different parts of the world, to arrive at Las Tanusas hotel in Puerto Cayo, Ecuador. It was not easy to get here.
